National Consumer Sentiment (NCSS) Survey 2025 Report: Consumer Reflections Video

What’s this about?

The Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF) conducts an annual survey to better understand how Australians feel about the healthcare system and their experiences with it. The National Consumer Sentiment Survey (NCSS) captures real experiences and views to help shape better healthcare. This NCSS helps highlight what’s working, and what needs fixing, in Australia’s healthcare system. It gives a voice to everyday Australians and helps guide improvements that matter to communities.

In 2024, the NCSS report key areas for improvement were:

-          Communication & navigating the health system

-          Workforce Shortages & Cost of Care

-          Affordability & Accessibility (including regional and rural considerations and experiences of financial stress related to healthcare)

-          Discrimination & Disrespect
