Senior Policy Analyst - Canberra / Melbourne

Job description

About the Role

The Senior Policy Analyst reports to the Executive Director, Policy and Research. You will work on a range of high level projects, conduct research, provide advice and contribute to the development of evidence-based health related policy positions

You will also build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating their engagement in, and contribution to, the identification and development of policy solutions that informs policy decision making.

You will have a high level understanding of the Australian health care system and familiarity with current health policy challenges particularly as they pertain to Australian health care consumers. You will also have substantial experience in developing high quality policy submissions and positions in health or other human service policy areas.

This role can be based in either Melbourne or Canberra, with hybrid working arrangements available. The role will involve some occasional interstate travel.
