Mental Health

The Productivity Commission is undertaking a final review of the National Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Agreement. The review will assess the impact of programs delivered under the Agreement and will ultimately make recommendations that aim to enhance the effectiveness, accessibility, affordability and safety of the mental health and suicide prevention system.

For this inquiry, The Productivity Commission is seeking feedback on experiences with mental health and suicide prevention services over the past three years and suggestions on how services could be improved.

CHF will be making a submission and is inviting consumers to complete our short online survey below.

This is your opportunity to tell us about your experiences with mental health or suicide prevention services in Australia, both positive and negative, and to share what you think still needs to be improved. Your feedback will be used to inform our response to the Review and any recommendations that we make.

If you have any questions or if you have something to share, but you don’t want to complete an online survey, you can also contact CHF Policy Officer Naomi Thomson at n.thomson@chf.org.au.

The survey closes on Monday 3 March 2025 at 9am AEDT.

Thank you in advance for your valuable input.
