About
There has been a growing interest in wearable devices like fitness trackers and smartwatches being used as tools to help people monitor and manage their health. CHF is interested in better understanding how people feel about the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in primary healthcare, such as in general practice, allied health, or community pharmacy settings.
As we work toward reforms in primary healthcare, it's important that consumer voices shape how digital technologies and AI are integrated into these changes. Part of our focus is understanding whether you think these tools are useful, appropriate, and trustworthy in everyday healthcare. We’re also curious about what kind of information or privacy protections you would expect when using them. This will help us build a clearer picture of what is working well, identify concerns, and explore how digital tools and AI could be used more effectively in the future.
We are looking for up to twenty-five (25) consumers with varied experiences and levels of engagement with primary care and digital health. This includes people who may not have attended a general practice in the last twelve (12) months, or who rarely use digital health services.
We want to hear from consumers about their experiences with and understanding of digital tools and artificial intelligence (AI), including:
Your experiences using digital technologies in primary care, like health apps, electronic prescriptions, or online health records
How these tools could be more helpful in improving your care, and what would make them easier for you and your healthcare providers to use
What you know about AI in healthcare, and how you feel about it being used in places like your local GP clinic
Where you think AI might be useful in primary care, and what should be done to make sure it’s used safely and in the right way
