Consumer consultation workshop: Community fact sheets on core palliative care medicines

Opportunity Snapshot:

Palliative Care Australia (PCA) is leading the Quality Use of Community Palliative Care Medicines Project, which aims to improve timely access to core palliative care medicines and support quality end-of-life care in community settings.

PCA is seeking consumer feedback on information resources and input into developing a fact sheet about the four core palliative care medicines commonly used to manage symptoms at the end of life in community settings.

Who: 10-12 Australian healthcare consumers

Importantly, applicants must not work in healthcare and must have very limited or no direct experience with caring for someone in palliative care or at end-of-life. This will help ensure the resources are accessible to the broader community.   

What: Participate in a one and half hour online workshop providing feedback on information resources

When: Workshop - 22 September 2026 (12:30pm AEST)

Remuneration: $96.00 per hour.
