Australia’s Health Panel is an Australian first.

A people-driven resource for the millions of Australians personally interested in health care.

In an age of consumer driven health care our vision is that the consumer health panel will be the home of the objective consumer view.

What is Australia's Health Panel?

Healthcare will change rapidly over the next ten years, driven by community expectations and developments in fields such as medical knowledge, genomics and digital health. Insights generated by the Panel will strengthen the community voice, shaping healthcare we want in the 21st century.

It offers a modern, interactive online platform devoted to harnessing the views of Australians about the state of the nation’s health care system.

Businesses seeking to better shape products and services ask consumers “what matters to you?” It should be the same in health care. The Panel will provide a unique, direct channel to ask consumers about the contemporary issues in health and care that matter most to them.

Consumer Driven

Consumer views will be front and centre of the national health debate.

Through consumer insights we will be positioned to influence policy in their interests.

Consumers will be able to work with us to co-design system change for better health outcomes.

The panel could be a rapid response vehicle for health policy and program initiatives that could be accessed on a national, local, demographic or health segmentation.

Enhance Value

We will add depth and diversity to the thought leadership of Australia’s leading health consumer peak body.
