Your health in your pocket: The MyHealth App

The Australian Digital Health Agency (ADHA) has been continually developing My Health Record to meet the needs of Australians, and these improvements wouldn’t have been possible without consumers like yourselves testing, providing feedback, and advocating for what consumers need. Now, My Health Record is more accessible than ever, as the Agency have released the MyHealth App.

Consumers Health Forum (CHF) has previously put the word out to our Special Interest Groups about the Myhealth App, and asked for their feedback. Everything we’ve heard has been positive.

“I’m absolutely amazed how good, comprehensive and accurate it is!” – Digital Health SIG member

The app allows consumers to access services as diverse as Advance Health Directives, blood test results, and even organ donation status.

As health consumers get more and more familiar with the digital space, and the demand for accessible and convenient digital health services rises, My Health Record needs to adapt and grow to meet that demand. This app is a step in the right direction, and CHF hopes that the Agency will continue to make strides in delivering the services that consumers want.
