The Victorian Department of Health are seeking three Victorian consumer representatives to participate in the consultation group for the National Primary and Acute Care Data Linkage Project. 

In Australia, understanding consumers' experiences across different health services is challenging because general practice (GP) and hospital data collection is fragmented. These organisations don't routinley share their patient data due to Australia's strict privacy laws which limits effective health service planning and patient insights.

CHF is partnering with the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Healthcare to develop the National Quality Use of Medicines (QUM) Health Literacy Roadmap. CHF is seeking two consumer representatives to participate quarterly in steering committee meetings in 2024 and 2025.

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and Consumers Health Forum are undertaking a national stakeholder engagement process to review the 2016 Statement on Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research (the Statement).

The Statement was originally developed in 2006 and last updated in 2016. Its aim is to guide research institutions, researchers, consumers, and community members in the active involvement of consumers and community members in all aspects of health and medical research.
