Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records (PCEHR) Project
Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records National Workshop
Tuesday 15 February 2011
As part of CHF’s Facilitating Consumer Input on Personally Controlled Electronic Health Records (PCEHR) Project, CHF hosted a National Workshop to engage with consumers on the issues associated with the development of the PCEHR system planning, implementation and other eHealth initiatives. The aim of the workshop was to gauge consumer views and enable consumer centred policy input into the early concept development and design of PCEHR, and other eHealth initiatives.
To provide background to interested consumers, CHF released a paper titled eHealth and Electronic Health Records: Consumer Perspectives and Consumer Engagement. The paper draws on current Australian and international literature and preliminary consultations with CHF members and stakeholders.
