The Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Support Group (SANDS) (QLD) hosted an Electronic Health Records Project information session in Brisbane on 5 May 2005. An implementation trial for HealthConnect is taking place in South Brisbane.

CHF held an Electronic Health Records Project information session in Sydney on 14 April 2005 in conjunction with the NSW Council of Social Services (NCOSS). NSW Health is trialling an electronic health records system, Health e-link, which may impact on the introduction of HealthConnect.

CHF held an Electronic Health Records Project information session in Adelaide on 6 April 2005 in conjunction with Diabetes Australia (SA). South Australia will be one of the initial implementation states for the national electronic health records initiative, HealthConnect.

CHF held two Electronic Health Records Project information sessions in Perth on 22 and 23 March 2005 hosted by the Health Consumers’ Council of WA. The sessions looked at the introduction of electronic health records nationally in Australia and current directions for electronic health records and data linkage in WA.
